A Nutritious Hand-Feeding Formula for High-Energy Parrots
Your Parrot Pro Energy Hand Feeding Formula (6kg) is specially designed for baby parrots with higher energy needs.
This innovative blend of fruits, berries, and vegetables provides a wide range of vitamins, antioxidants, and probiotics—essential for supporting the immune system and overall growth of your young parrot. Papaya and bananas supply vitamins and dietary fibre; antioxidant-rich berries like blueberries and juniper berries; and carrots provide vital beta-carotene.
Together, these ingredients replicate the diverse diet birds would encounter in the wild, promoting better feeding response, improved digestion, and optimal growth compared to traditional hand-rearing formulas—helping your baby parrot grow healthy and strong.
Prepare our hand feeding formula by mixing the powder with pre-boiled, warm water (40 degrees Celsius). At this temperature, chicks accept the formula best according to the chart below.
Allow mixture to stand for one minute to absorb all the water.
Remix, and feed at a temperature of 38-40°C with a spoon, syringe, or crop tube.
Prepare food fresh each meal and thoroughly clean utensils between feeds.
To ensure that our formula always stays fresh, we have used resealable strong buckets.
Protect them from direct sunlight, excessive heat (+18 degrees) and all kinds of pests
• 0-2 days 1 scoop (15g) in 105ml of water every two hours.
• 3-7 days 1 scoop (15g) in 90ml of warm water every 3 -4 hours.
• 8-19 days. 1 scoop (15g) in 75ml of water every 4-5 hours.
• 20+ days. 1 scoop (15g) in 60ml of water every 6 – 8 hours.
